Lighting the way Volvo intended, you will never regret this upgrade.

Information on upgrading 4 lamp systems to Euro spec lighting and adding relays is in the Quick index
I replaced the aging harnesses in Jay's wagon and took some pics with my new digital camera, the process is the same as on a 700 car but since I got better pics I did the page on the 240 rather than scanning the pics of the job I did on the 700.
I got my harness' from Dave Barton's link below.
Just added,

The latest addition. I bought it as a '62 but when I got it home and ran the type code it turns out to be a '63 (21134C) It was a well loved car and will be brought back to life as it was when it came from Sweden. It came over with it's owner in the early '90s and has the original paperwork in Swedish. Everything on the car is in the mother tongue.
Click on the pic for more details and pics.
The one that started it all, my trusty '88. Just passed 200K and still runs and drives like new. Well better actually, many modifications to make it quicker and handle like it's on rails.
The new shop.
26'X26' heated, insulated high in the pines near Durango Colorado. By the end of June I hope to be enjoying the serinity of the mountains, finally out of the rat race called San Diego. The shop has an extra high cieling so I finally get to have a lift to make things easier.
