The chin scoop was missing off my '85 so I took some stainless and cut a new one. Make sure you leave enough room around the AC lines that they will not be cut if you should bump a curb. |

After a test fit I scraped the gunk off and gave it a coat of primer and black paint. |

I got this idea from Dave Barton in one of his posts. I removed bottom screws and loosened the top ones so I could pull the bottom of the condenser out. A small piece of 1"X2" wood was placed between the bottom mount of the condenser and the mount area, a screw holds the wood in there. I also removed the factory electric fan to improve air flow, it never came on after I put a good fan clutch on the car and all it was doing was blocking air. |

Here's a kinda cruddy shot of the new position of the condenser, it doesn't look like much but there is about 1 1/2-2" of space in there for nice fresh air to get to the intercooler. Makes a noticable difference on long uphill pulls with the AC on. |
