I changed the accessory bushings in both my cars to ipd's aftermarket bushings they not only reduced the squealing noise caused by missaligned pulleys the reduced drag gave me an additional 1/2 to 1 mile per gallon of fuel. 
This upgrade will pay for itself.
First jack up and support the car, remove the engine pan
I have found that a quick spray of silicone lubricant does wonders when sliding the bushings back where they came from. 
<=  loosten 13mm nut
To loosten alternator
back off 10mm=> tensioning bolt
<=Remove
bolt (13mm
socket and
wrench) pull
out from rear.

<= more 10mm bolts =>
Be sure to get the
washers back where they came from. 
Support the
alternator
If the bushings are stuck, run an old bolt and nut through them and use a little leverage.
<=Replace the pivot bolt and torque to 12-15 ft lbs. 
Adjust the belt and torque the bolt on the adjustment strap.
