Welcome to Henry's web site!  Henry is our four year old Brittany, named after Henry David Thoreau.  The Brittany is an upland game bird dog, named after the province in France where they originated.  They are pointers who love to hunt and retrieve.  The Brittany is one of the oldest breed of hunting dogs and is known for its versatility and small size.  It is equally at home in the show ring as in the field, and is known as a "dual" champion breed. 

The Brittany has a sweet, loving, intelligent, and carefree temperament, and is happiest when running free and working the field.  They are high energy dogs who need lots of exercise and room to roam, and they are easy to train and eager to please.  Henry has all the wonderful characteristics of this amazing breed and we think he is the greatest!

Henry is a extremely good natured and he has brought much love and laughter to our home.  He is a perfect companion to our seven year old Vizsla, Lester.  Watching the two of them running in the field is a beautiful sight to behold!
