Thursday Winter Advanced/Intermediate Wallyball League
The Thursday night Wallyball Winter League is intended for players of the Intermediate or Advanced caliber. There is also a Wednesday night pickup league at Central Courts designed for those who are in the Advanced or Open levels of play. There is also play on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:30. Players may participate in both leagues if they feel comfortable with the playing levels.
The Winter 2007-2008 league is a scheduled League for play from December through March. This is an 8-team league. There will be playoffs in March; standings based on Winning % (total point differential as tiebreaker).

Winter 2007-2008 League Play notes
- Play starts on Thursday, December 6th beginning at 6:30 pm (warm ups until 6:20)
- Each team will play 3 matches per night; regular scoring to 18 points per game
o 3 games up to 18 points(this may vary if time requires)
o Regular scoring (must serve to win a point)
o First to 18 wins; no Win by 2 points rule
- If teams disagree on a call, do a replay
- No Fighting or Arguing – that includes everyone!
o Commissioners may suspend you from future league play
Weekly Match Play
- When match is completed, exit the playing court and write down the scores
- Return to “pick up” play with your opponent (or mix teams if you like) until all teams have finished their scheduled match
- Last team to complete their match will notify the other teams that next round of play may begin
- Finish all matches no later than 8:50 pm
- Players may continue playing on courts when all matches are done until 9:00 pm
- Last 2 teams on Courts other than #6 & #7 must take down the nets after their match is done (unless told otherwise)
- Teams must call any play violations (i.e.: double-hits) on themselves; cannot call any on the opponent
- Players must get their own substitutes from the Sub Pool list that was distributed in December. If you need another list, contact George or Scott. Let your teammates know you have a substitute playing in your absence.
