I tried to blame it on the dog.....

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Paper! Paper of all types! Newspaper is especially fun, but it turns my fingers black. I also like....the cards that fall out of magazines, junk mail, paper towels, napkins, and books. We looked in my Mom's baby book, and found out that I am not the first to LOVE LOVE LOVE Paper. Mom also loved paper, especially magazines, when she was my age. My Mom LOVES to read now, so maybe I'll love to read too!!

Today we were hanging out on the couch, and Mom went to give me my Baby Faces book to look at. It looked chewed on at one corner, and Mom thought that Kali did it. Kali doesn't chew on stuff often, but every once in awhile she finds something she likes. A couple of months ago, it was books, so it made sense. I just kept quiet on the couch. When Mom gave me the book, I started to read it

But then I remembered how good it tasted

Oh well, so much for blaming it on the dog!

Just Call me Miss Fussybudget!

Hi there, it's been awhile. This was a looooong week! My dad had to go to Colorado for a couple of days for work, so it was just me & mom & Kali. Mom said that I was in charge of Kali, so I made sure that we took her to the park at night and let her run around so that she wouldn't keep us up at night wanting to play.

I'm kinda sick - on Monday, I had a 102 temperature at Kirsten's house, so mom came & picked me up and took me to go see Dr. Rao, but she was already gone for the day, so we saw Dr. Sharma instead - she's pretty nice. They didn't see anything wrong, so they just told my mom to make sure I got plenty of fluids.

I stayed at home while Mom worked on Tuesday.......And Wednesday....And Thursday. I had a temperature of 103 on Tuesday, and I slept a lot. Wednesday, I wasn't as hot, but my ear started hurting REALLY bad, so I cried whenever mom wasn't holding me. I did get to visit with our neighbors while mom did a training - that was fun! They cuddled me, and read me some of the books they have at their house for their grandkids!

Thursday I went back to Dr. Rao, and YEP! I have another ear infection. I also have a rash that started right after my fever broke - Dr. Rao said it's probably Roseola. It doesn't hurt, but I have red dots EVERYWHERE now! I am not a happy camper - I still want to be held, and I'm not afraid to let my mom & dad know! It's a good thing I'm pretty cute, otherwise they might not want to hold me so much!!

I just thought everyone might want to know....I am BIG

I'm outgrowing the changing table on my pack n play

Mom just took the bassinette out of the pack n play - so now I sleep on the bottom, like a big girl, and like I do at Kirsten's.

I almost laughed today. Mom was carrying me on top of her shoulders and we were looking in the big mirror. It was funny, so I arched my back, and shreiked a little. Mommy was SO happy!
