9 Months!!! Already!!!

Today was Kimberly's 9 month appt. She was acutally 9 months last Friday, but anyway.......

19 lbs, 11oz - between 75th and 90th percentile
28.5 inches - 90th percentile
17.5 inches (Head Circumference) - between 50th and 75th percentile

She looks great - doing all the things she is supposed to:

"Talking" - dada, mama, baba, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - I don't see her tying what she says to acutal people or things yet, but give her time.....
Clapping
Waving Bye Bye
Touchdown!!!!!
Crawling
Pulling up
Eating people food

Now we can pretty much give her anything that we would eat (a couple of things to wait for, but not many), and we can start to give her whole milk if we want to introduce it slowly. There is also no need to transition her to formula before she goes to milk (I asked!)

This holiday weekend we are traveling North to Discovery Bay to visit Kimberly's Great Grandma and Grandpa Learned, and all sorts of great aunts/uncles and cousins. They haven't seen her since she was about 2 months old -- boy, are they in for a surprise!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love you all, and can't wait to see you (at Thanksgiving or Christmas!!!)

I don't like my toofers

I see mommy brushing her toofers every morning, but I don't know why she looks so happy when she does it. They hurt! I have 2 on the bottom of my mouth, but they were nice. I'm getting 6 right now (yes - 6!), and they are not very nice. Three of the ones on the top are through, so they are nicer now, but there is still one more on the top, and two on the bottom, and they are just mean!

For those of you that didn't know, I am a crawling machine. I can get pretty much anywhere I want, and any toys I see. Some of my favorite toys -- Kali's stuffed hippo and rawhide treats! I get sad because mommy won't let me have them. She also won't let me play with the pretty white rectangles that are a different color than the wall -- she tells me no, and then moves me back to the center of the room.

Oh, and I am still eating lots of food. This weekend, I went to a family reunion dinner at my great-great-aunt Ruths. I ate chicken, carrots, rice & beans (all with my hands!), and I wanted some enchiladas, but they gave Mommy heartburn, so she wouldn't let me try them. Maybe next time!
