I am a Magician!
Today mommy and I went over to see Stephanie & Jonah. Jonah is getting big, but I am still bigger!! Mommy went to see Stephanie because she needs a dress for some big party she is going to this weekend (I get to stay at home with Grandma Terry - Yeah!). Stephanie has cool clothes, I guess. While mommy was trying on dresses, I got to play on the floor, and mommy gave me a credit card and her driving license to play with. Also Elmo, who is my favorite stuffed toy right now!!
So, I was playing with the cards, and mommy tried on dresses. She looked bee-you-ti-full. She tried on some dresses that were too small, and some that just weren't right on her, but she did find a pretty black top and a really cool skirt! I hope her and Daddy have fun this weekend, they're going to Some Diego place.
After Mommy found something to wear, we were getting ready to go home to see Daddy & Kali. Mommy was collecting all her stuff, and she couldn't find her driving thing. She looked EVERYWHERE, in her shoes, on the floor, in the closet, on the bed. She looked and looked and looked, but she couldn't find it. She even checked in my pants - I guess she thought I might know how to put things in pockets??? Finally, she gave up. Stephanie said that she would keep looking and call our house if she found anything.
When we got to the car, Mommy held me up with two hands to put me in my carseat. She felt something hard in my back......she started laughing. She carried me back to the front door and knocked, and Stephanie and Jonah came to the door. She had Stephanie touch my back....SHE started laughing. Now, I know I'm only 9 months and 18 days old, but is there REALLY something funny about my back? You'd tell me, wouldn't you???
It turns out, the driving thing was in my shirt. Mommy asked me how it got there, but - hey - a magician's gotta have some secrets, right?
Love you all,
KJ
