Did I Mention I can WALK!
I kind of surprised my Mom & Dad last night -- I just stood up and started walking!! I didn't think they were looking, and I wanted to practice (I've been making a habit of taking a step here, a step there, when no one is looking), so I stood up in the living room, and off I went! Mom saw me, though, so she grabbed my Dad, and they came over and watched me.
Apparently this is a big deal! Mom and Dad were smiling, and they kept hugging me and telling me good job! They grabbed the video camera, so the proof is at the top of the page!
What else is new? I'm no longer the baby at daycare; my friend Dylan comes there with me now. His Mom Melissa is friends with my Mom, and now we get to be friends too. I spent all day yesterday trying to take his bottle -- I haven't had one in 2 weeks, and I had almost forgot how wonderful they are. I wouldn't trade places with him to be able to drink his bottle, though -- he has to eat the food out of the jars, and I get to eat what the BIG kids are eating. MMMMMMMMM - last week, I had turnips for lunch. Mommy had to have me point out what a turnip was at the store, because she doesn't even know!
I'm going to the snow this week! It's my first ride on an airplane -- I'm going to try to be good for my Mom & Dad, but if someone kicks my seat, I'm not keeping any promises!
