Horses + Strawberries = Fun!

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Strawberry Festival last weekend! It was very fun! I got to walk around, and eat a lot of strawberries, and I got to go on a horse (a carousel, not a real horse), and a boat ride. I actually got to go on the boat ride twice. Mommy didn't want to go, but when it was our turn, Daddy wasn't back yet, so Mommy took me, then when Daddy got back, I told him I wanted to go again!

The next day, I was going to Trevor's house to take him a present for his birthday, and I asked my Mommy if we were going to go ride the horses and boat again. She said no, but when we got to Trevor's house, there was a Jolly Jump, and that was just as fun!!

It fell off my HEAD!!!

Kimberly, as most of you know, was a little slow on the hair-growing bandwagon. Finally, at 2 years and 3 months, she has enough hair that we can kind of put it in a ponytail. I put it in a ponytail the other night, and in the morning, I awoke to her standing at her bedroom door with the rubber band in her hand yelling:

"MOM!!!!! It fell off my HEAD!!!!!"

It is pretty cute, if I do say so myself!

Little Miss Chatterbox

Hello there! How are you? I am good. Yesterday me and mama drove to E...s...c....o....n.....Liz's house because her and Thom are having a baby! It was exciting for me, because there were a lot of other kids there. I was the biggest kid, and the oldest, but we had fun running around the backyard, and playing with a mickey mouse toy, and eating di di's (cookies). I had to spend a lot of time in the car, but it's okay, because mama made sure to drive at times that I would be sleeping. I woke up on the way down there, and I really wanted I-do (Baby Einstein), but mama couldn't find the DVD player before she left, so we watched the other cars, and airplanes, and trains, and motorcycles. There were 5 motorcycles by us once, and then one of them popped a wheelie on the freeway. Those guys are nuts!

I am working on learning my colors right now. My most favoritist color is blue, and then red is next. I usually call everything blue, but now if it is red, I know that it's red. When daddy reads me Sam (Green Eggs and Ham), I always tell him that there is a blue car, and that the mountain is red. I read a really funny book yesterday where these animals have on different color clothes, and then each page has a Turkey, and he has the clothes on wrong. He put a shoe on his head, and his shirt on his feet! Mama says each color, "Red Shirt, Blue Shirt, Yellow Shirt", and then, "Oops - silly turkey"! and I giggle - it's so funny! That wasn't my book, though, it's for the new baby, so I think I might tell mama and daddy that they should get it for me!

I hope everyone had a good March! I love March. Actually, I love TO March! March, March, March, all around the house! But March is almost over -- can anyone tell me how to April???

I'm way more than two!

I turned two last month, so now I am way more than two! I am having a great year so far. I learned to talk some more, so I'm always telling mama and daddy what is happening. Sometimes I tattle, like when I tell mama "woof on my wiggle". I don't want Kali to drink my milk, but she always comes around whenever I get a drink.

I am so happy that mama played with the clocks last weekend - she said she wanted to save some daylight, or something like that. It means that I can go running! every day after I leave Kirsten's. I love running! real fast, mostly downhill. It's also very fun when I scream I'm running! as I run down the hill. I also love chasing Kali while she is running! I can't quite catch her, though.

I hope I see everyone soon, I know I got to see a lot of you on my birthday, but in case it wasn't obvious, I didn't feel very good, and I didn't really enjoy it. I do feel better now - Yay!
