Update on Construction of the 1936 Dallaire Sportster - 12/18/02
About finished....I think :>) Ran the engine (ole blue head Super Tiger) hadn't been run in about 10 years. Runs fine! How about those graphics :>) Well, I try, anyway... The covering is Ultracoat Lite... really nice to put on.

Radio Compartment.. Left is battery and receiver, throttle servo, and you can see the rear of the tank. Note rubber bands to hold things in place. Right you see the front end of my Pull / Pull control system. The lines are Kevlar with glued knots.
Rear view. I made my control horns out of thin plywood. I've done this before and had good luck with them. Note the eylet screwed into the connectors.... They unscrewed themselves during engine tuning. I put lock tight on the threads and safety wired them with thin copper wire after that.
All I need is a nice day now! Need to have buddies look her over for the obvious stuff that I overlooked and then pour the coal to her!!!!!! and let her climb out!!!!
