YELLOWSTONE VALLEY ASTRONOMY ASSOCIATION INC is a non-profit organization of people who love the night sky and are hoping to share it's wonders with others.We are dedicated to the control of lighting,and to helping others learn and appreciate the night sky as we do. MONTHLY MEETINGS are held the last Thursday of each month at DEACONESS' MARY ALICE FORTIN CENTER at 7:00 pm. 2008 Meeting dates are... JANUARY 31...FEBRUARY 28...MARCH 27...APRIL 24...MAY 29...JUNE 26...JULY 31...AUGUST 28... SEPTEMBER 25...OCTOBER 30... November and December are taken off in observance of Thanksgiving and Christmas. DUES are $20.00 per year and run from JANUARY 1st to December 31st. A copy of the membership form is available for printing by CLICKING HERE NEWSLETTERS are published once per quarter and passed out at club meetings. They are mailed to members not at those meetings VIEWING SESSIONS are held each month on the Saturday closest to the new Moon. (WEATHER PERMITTING) Contact the club for the next viewing session. |
